Moving to The United States
If the necessary documentation is properly completed, it is an easy process to move from Canada to the United States.
For Canadian Citizens, the following documents are required for moving to the USA;
. Copy of your visa (work or study)
. Copy of 'offer of employment letter'
. Copy of front page from your passport clearly showing your photograph
. Other photo identification if you do not have a passport (i.e. driver's license)
. The Treasury Form #3299 of the United States (This form will be completed by Vega Line)
For returning U.S. Citizens who resided in Canada, the following documents are required
for moving to the USA;
. Copy of American passport / Birth Certificate
. The Treasury Form #3299 of the United States (This form will be completed by Vega Line)
All the personal household goods are permitted to enter duty-free by declaring that they have been used for at least one year. The defined household goods that are defined by
U.S. Government are all furniture, carpets, tableware, linens and paintings.

Moving to Canada
As a moving company we are not permitted to deliver your goods until the shipment has actually cleared customs. According to Canada Customs regulations the customer must
clear the goods in person as an owner. No other third party but the owner must appear
at the customs to clear the goods. As soon as your goods arrive in Canada, one of our representatives will contact you to arrange a meeting at the manifested customs office
to make the customs declaration.The following documents are required to present to the
Customs Office:
. Work Visa
. Employer Letter of Intent
. Passport or Birth Certificate
. Photo Identification
. Marriage Certificate if spouse has different name.
If there are any duty, fees or taxes owing, you will be required to pay these monies
